Saturday, October 25, 2014

On Saturday October 25th The Tinicum Township Fire Company was invited to participate in the 2014 EPX Drill at the Philadelphia International Airport. The drill simulated a mass casualty aircraft accident on the tarmac. Tinicum crews worked together with the assistance of the Philadelphia, Eddystone, and Prospect Park Fire Departments practicing patient triage, rescue and hazardous material skills dictated by the drill. Tinicum would like to thank the Delaware County mutual aid companies for making a great coordinated team effort to making the drill a great success. We also extend a big thank you to the Philadelphia Fire Department for the invitation to participate in this excellent learning experience.
